About Ampod
The Founder of Ampod
Yvonne Witter MA, BA, HND, SFEDI, MIBC established Ampod Ltd, a business consulting & training company, in response to her perception of a gap in business support provision in enterprise development within communities to pre-starts and new business.
She has developed her expertise in communicating with pre-starts and new business clients through empowering and encouraging the development of business ideas into realistic business propositions without alienating and making clients feel inadequate or for any reason unable to start a business.
She incorporates soft skills development and coaching into her service delivery model and understands fully the range of motivational factors that drive people in communities to want to start a business or become self employed. She has also developed and delivered unique programmes which map onto curriculum targets within schools for years 9 and 10 students.
A qualified and experienced project manager, her main areas of expertise in relation to business development are in the areas of marketing strategy and communications, with a particular emphasis on cost saving marketing and promotional activities for small business.
Her business experience also comes from a lifetime spent in her family business and project managing the delivery of innovative LSC training / development programmes for SME’s in South London Boroughs [2001-2003].
She is a contributor to the DTI Strategy for Women’s Enterprise, launched in 2005. She has also contributed to the development of a pilot course which reflects the Institute of Leadership and Management endorsed award in Entrepreneurship.
